Your Media on Your Devices - Anywhere, Anytime, In the Home or on the Go.
Size: 11.09MB
OS: Win 2000/XP/2003
In: Audio & Video

The TVersity Media Server is a UPNP AV compliant media server that extends the functionality of UPNP media hubs to navigate, search, play and record, audio and video content from the Internet. It can also replace your existing UPNP media server and handle all the media located on your home network, including media formats that are not natively supported by your media receiver.

With TVersity your media hub will be able to play almost any media file you have and in the same time become the set top box of Internet Television/Radio. Additionally the TVersity Media Server lets you manage your Internet media URLs and essentially create your personalized lineup of channels, aka a personal programming guide (PEG).

How It Works:

* Add your home and Internet media to TVersity
* Organize it, tag it and create playlists
* Access it from your TV and other devices

What's New in version 1.0.0.7 RC 4:

* Support for PS3 firmware 2.5.
* YouTube URLs that expire are now automatically re-acquired, eliminating the need to do a refresh of the media source.
* Support for Atom feeds generated by the new YouTube Data API.
* Support for YouTube Playlists (e.g. check this Start Trek playlist). Just add any YouTube playlist URL to TVersity and you are subscribed to it.
* Support for YouTube H.264 videos, devices that can play H.264 but cannot play FLV will now get H.264 from YouTube instead of a transcoded version created from the FLV.
* Support for the high quality videos on YouTube, TVersity will always try the high quality version first and only when not available fall back to the low quality one.
* Support for funnyordie.com video pages. Add for example this page URL to TVersity.
